Some more notes on roofing:

Whoever decided to park that high pressure system over the top of WNY for the the few days I was in town thank you!! It kept the skies clear and the rooftop temperature a nice tolerable 80 ish.

My little brother is a bit of a perfectionist. He also did roofing professionally for awhile. My father is not a perfectionist. Stuff like this can lead to all manner of family strife.

tool list again:

gasoline/hydraulic 4 wheel drive lift w/rollout extended reach platform.

BIG air compressor with manifold and LOTS of hose.

framing nailer (stick type)

coil nailer for roofing nails

lots of BIG tarps.

chalk lines with Red chalk not blue

high quality utility knives, some with straight blades, some with hooked blades.

a good cordless screwdriver (I use Dewalt)

a good cordless circular saw (ditto Dewalt)

20 oz framing hammer

tool belt w/hammer loop and at least one big pocket.
